Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Finance Toolkit (the "App"), developed and maintained by Finance Toolkit ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
License to Use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Finance Toolkit on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer the App.
- You may not use the App for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
- This licence is for personal, non-commercial use only.
Pricing & No In-App Purchases
Finance Toolkit is completely free to download and use. Every feature is available from the moment you install the App.
- No subscriptions — there are no monthly or annual fees.
- No in-app purchases — nothing is locked behind a paywall.
- No advertisements and no sponsored content.
- No trial periods, no tiered features, no future paywalls.
- We reserve the right to modify, add, or remove features in future versions with or without notice.
Not Financial Advice
- Results are estimates based on the inputs you provide — always verify important figures independently.
- Consult a qualified financial or tax professional before making financial decisions.
- We are not liable for any decisions made based on the App's output.
- Tax calculations (Old vs New regime, NPS, PF, Gratuity) are illustrative and may not reflect the latest regulations.
- Investment tracking and projections (FD, RD, SIP, Mutual Fund, etc.) are estimates and do not guarantee actual returns.
Your Data & Responsibilities
Finance Toolkit is 100% offline. All data is stored on your device. We have no access to it.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the App.
- You are responsible for maintaining your own backups if iCloud sync is not enabled.
- Exported JSON backup files are your responsibility once shared from the App.
- Important Documents stored in the App are your responsibility — keep originals safe elsewhere.
- Do not use the App in ways that violate applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Finance Toolkit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calculations, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or free of bugs at all times.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App — including financial losses resulting from reliance on App output or loss of data.
Updates & Changes
We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date on this page.
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time. If the App is discontinued, your locally stored data remains on your device and is unaffected. We are not obligated to provide refunds in the event of discontinuation.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from use of the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
